Welcome to The Drama-Play Connection! 

Our Pragmatic Drama workshop is designed to teach pragmatic language skills and foster the development of social skills through the art of drama.  Our program serves children and young adolescents who function well in most areas, but are struggling with the social skills and peer relationships.

Our safe environment provides students an opportunity to make new friends and feel good about their interactions with others.

In addition to the curriculum (described for each week - see links), the actors/actresses are cued by their drama/social coaches to read and use appropriate body language, as well as behave in a socially appropriate manner.  The highlight of the summer for the children is the opportunity to "co-star" in a full hour-long movie! 

The children also enjoy other activities, such as:
